Freaks and Geeks Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Freaks and Geeks is an American teen comedy-drama television series created by Paul Feig and executive-produced by Judd Apatow that aired on NBC during the 1999–2000 television season. The show follows gifted high schooler Lindsay Weir, who befriends a gang of slacker "freaks", and her younger brother Sam, as he and his geek friends navigate high school. Eighteen episodes were completed, but the series was canceled after only 12 had aired. A fan campaign persuaded NBC to broadcast three of the remaining episodes in July 2000, with the rest of the unaired episodes airing that fall on Fox Family Channel.

The series has appeared in numerous lists of the greatest television shows of all time, including lists by Time, Entertainment Weekly and TV Guide. It launched several of its young actors' careers, such as James Franco, Seth Rogen, Jason Segel, Busy Philipps, John Francis Daley, Martin Starr, and Linda Cardellini.

A member of the audience shares some thoughts about Freaks and Geeks at IMDB, ¨Junk. What a steaming pile this is. It's not anywhere near accurate of what early 80's high school was like. Everything from the wardrobe to the hairstyles are completely inaccurate; which would be okay if only there were *any* other redeeming qualities about this absolutely terrible television show. But there isn't. The staging is quite literally laughable; I think a moderately competent 12 year old could shoot a better show. The acting (and I'm being waaaay too generous there) is very, very bad and the writing stinks like fresh dog pie on a dewy spring morn. Seriously - this show is popular because the demographic it's meant to be consumed by have money and want to romanticize a past that never happened. This is junk.¨

Andy Wilton says

"Truly shocking company. My product was appalling manufactured. After much hassle, the company finally asked to take the product back. Then, nothing. I had to launch a case with Paypal to claim the money back, which took months. The company refused to pay for the return international tracked postage they had requested. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE THIEVES!"

Shelbi Goble says

"First, they never sent me a shipping confirmation stating that the item had been shipped. I went out of town and the product was delivere, but needed a signature. Of course I was not there so fedex called me and almost sent the product back. In hindsight I should've just let them. The jacket was nothing like the picture. Super cheap material and not even the same product. Then they sent me an ugly pink purse with it. I tried many times to return the product with unsuccessful attempts. I'm out $100 and can't even return the product because no one will contact me."

Jenifer Shifferly says

"I ordered a jacket back in mid October with the guarantee it would be delivered by Halloween. On 10/29, I had not received yet and checked the tracking status, and it had not been shipped yet. I contacted them at this point asking if it would be still here by Halloween (it was for my son’s costume), at which point they informed me they did not have the jacket and would be refunding my money within the week. Two weeks later, i had not received my money, so I contacted them again. At which point I was told to “be patient” and they would refund it within the week. So three weeks go by and still nothing. I contact them again (12/9/19) and get an email saying they will refund my money via PayPal (how I paid), but pay pal would be taking 3% of my refund. I asked why I should be out the money for an item I never received? They just simply replied back that was how it was basically. So I sent them my email and am hoping I will receive 97% of my money back. I believe the jacket was about $115.00 dollars. I am happy there are happy customers with this company, but I would not recommend them, or order from them again."

Rich Wade says

"Ordered an XS jacket and they sent us a Large. The jacket they sent was useless to us, but they insisted that is what we ordered and even quoted our original correspondence in the email back showing my note to send a jacket with extra small dimensions. Refused to return jack so I'll need to take it up with my credit card company. STAY AWAY FROM THIS VENDOR"
